這是什麼：美國的 Mrs. L. Dow Balliett 在 1905 年的《How to Attain Success Through the Strength of Vibration》用同一套數字讀名字數與出生數：名字數顯示你現在的樣子與別人眼中的你，出生數顯示這一生要擔任的角色（pp.12–13）。11 和 22 另外保留，不化成個位數。

5 號的特質（本站的白話）：通常自足、沉穩而迷人；心智開始向看不見的事物探索。

顏色與音調：粉紅色，書中說代表「沒有激情的愛」。音調是 G（p.19）。

對應物：寶石是軟玉；花是康乃馨、香豌豆、木犀草；象徵是三角形。其餘的對應表列在進階。
